Join Us for a Year-end Celebration of Our Successes

ASTD Mt. Diablo Chapter members are cordially invited to our second annual "Celebrate Our Successes" event free of charge. Non-members are also welcome to join us for a registration fee of $30; new members joining the Chapter can also attend free of charge. The Chapter, during 2010, continued to attract new members--we're very close to signing up our 100th member; provide cutting-edge programming at monthly meetings (http://mtdiabloastd.org/meetings/past_meetings); attract over 100 participants to our annual workplace learning and performance expo featuring first-rate speakers and exhibitors; sponsor a mentoring program that matched seven mentors with seven proteges; send Chapter members to national ASTD conferences to represent the Chapter and return with reports of best practices in our field; be part of a collaborative effort with our ASTD Golden Gate Chapter colleagues to provide communities of learning for ASTD colleagues who lost their own chapter in Silicon Valley; and serve our workplace learning and performance constituency in many other ways.

Since the event is primarily social, there will be no keynote speaker; we'll spend our time together in informal conversation, brief year-end updates including an opportunity to talk with members of the 2011 Chapter Board, and acknowledgements of the Board members and other volunteers who contributed to the Chapter's continuing success in 2010.
